| Nathan Strong (1748-1816) nathan Strong was a classmate of Timothy Dwight at Yale in 1769. Strong is mentioned in Archibald Alexander's biography as the leading light in the Plan of Union which alied Congregational and Presbyterian ministers in the Camp Meetings of the Second Great Awakening. Presbyterian Old Lights dissolved the Plan Of Union shortly after the hersey trial of Lyman Beecher in 1837. |
